UNBELIEVABLE, NO GIRLFRIEND FOR 20 YEARS! SAYS VAL KILMER IN NEW MEMOIR
So I love me some Val Kilmer. He’s one of those great stars who has done some incredibly varied work. The first thing I ever saw him in was the 80’s classic, Real Genius. If you don’t know it, check it out. It’s a classic and makes campy pure happiness. But there was also Val Kilmer as the Iceman in Top Gun, opposite Tom Cruise. I liked him a lot in Heat, as well. But let’s forget The Saint, shall we? Anyways, Val has a huge body of work and it’s all pretty great stuff. He’s a big star. But in his new Memoir, he says he hasn’t had a girlfriend I 20 years? Yes, that’s right, Val Kilmer has been lonely for quite a while.

REAL GENIUS VAL KILMER HAS DATED SOME OF THE HOTTEST STARS WE’VE EVER DREAMED OF
So his new memoir has the title, I’m Your Huckleberry. As it should! That’s his perfect line from the movie, Tombstone. So why is Kilmer putting out a memoir? Well, maybe because he’s 60 years old and has some incredible stories to tell. But not having a girlfriend for 2 decades is sad news indeed. Kilmer said, “I haven’t had a girlfriend in 20 years. The truth is I am lonely part of every day.” Wow! I mean, think about who this man has dated. Daryl Hannah, Cindy Crawford, Angelina Jolie (poor guy, she’s nuts). But let’s not forget Cher! Yes, he talks about Cher in his memoir, too.

AFTER BOUT WITH THROAT CANCER, CHER HELPED VAL KILMER THRU SOME DARD DAYS
But Kilmer was also married to the actress Joanne Whalley. They were together from 88 to 96 and have two children. Both are adults now. But his new memoir also talks about how he had throat cancer in 2015. And that gave him some dark days, indeed. But Cher helped him thru it in a big way. As Kilmer explained, “Once Cher works her way inside your head and heart, she never leaves. For her true friends, her steadfast love and loyalty never die.” Snap out of it!
So Kilmer may not have a girlfriend still. But I expect if he finds someone, they’ll be willing. As for us, we get to look forward to some more Iceman. That’s right, Kilmer will reprise his role for the Top Gun sequel! And as for his memoir, that’s worth a look, too.
