Maybe Don’t Steal An Ambulance to Make Car Theft Court Date

THIS IDIOT STOLE AN AMBULANCE TO MAKE IT TO HIS COURT DATE FOR AUTO THEFT ON TIME

Sometimes criminals make a point of showing how unprofessional and even possibly unintelligent they are with the choice they make.  And it’s going to be pretty impossible not to use one Kody Adams as an example at the top of this list.  And clearly, someone should be making a list.  Kody, who is from Oklahoma, had a pretty important court date he didn’t want to miss.  He had a meeting with a judge in Pawnee, Oklahoma.  And that’s because Kody was facing charges for stealing a car.  But apparently Kody was in a bind to make his meeting with a judge to talk about his auto theft charges.  So what did Kody do to get there in time?  Why, he stole an ambulance, of course.

FEELING LATE, CAR THIEF SAW A RUNNING AND EMPTY AMBULANCE AND HOPPED IN TO GO

The fact that it was a crime of opportunity probably won’t help this unprofessional and probably unintelligent criminal.  Kody, feeling that he wasn’t going to make his court date with the judge on time, spotted a running but empty LifeNet Emergency Services truck, or ambulance.  So he got in, put it in gear, and made off to meet the judge.  But the ambulance was quickly reported as missing, and police were on the lookout for it.  And unfortunately for Kody, a state trooper spotted him and promptly pulled him over.

A STATE TROOPER CAUGHT HIM, GOT HIM TO COURT ON TIME, THEN PROCESSED HIM FOR ANOTHER AUTO THEFT CHARGE

But the trooper was nice, in an ironic sort of way, by driving Kody to his court date and making it on time to meet with the judge for his (previous) auto theft charge.  But as soon as the meeting with the judge was over, the state trooper then kindly and professionally drove him back to Payne County as an official passenger perp.  And then booked him on brand new and separate charges for auto theft.  So I have to wonder, will this happen yet again when Kody has to make another court date with a judge on time?   I’m thinking a fire truck should be next.  Or maybe even a state trooper cruiser.
