BOEING 737 IN A FIELD AND NO ONE KNOWS WHY OR HOW
Mystery alert! Is anyone old enough to remember Close Encounters of the Third Kind? In the beginning a lost squadron of World War II planes appeared in the Mexican desert in mint condition. They had been left there by aliens. Is that what happened in Bali? There is an abandoned Boeing 737 plane sitting in the middle of a remote field in beautiful Bali. But no one, meaning no one at all, knows how it got there. That’s the kind of mystery that can keep some people up at night wondering, how did that happen?
MYSTERY IN BEAUTIFUL BALI ATTRACTS TOURISTS, TRAVEL WRITERS
The plane was found and still sits, abandoned, in the middle of a field in Bali. It’s just off the Raya Nusa Dua Selatan highway, about five minutes from a beautiful beach. HOW, WHO, WHAT, WHY? PLANE MYSTERY MOCKS THE CURIOUS
Some are speculating that it remained hidden for some time because of surrounding shipping containers. But we don’t even know how long the plane has been there. Others wonder if it was an entrepreneur’s project. Maybe to open a restaurant or some other business venture to attract tourists. But it’s attracting tourists now! Did someone have a dream project, only to run out of money? We have no idea. But for now it sits behind private gates and enjoys the protection of a private security guard. Weird, right?
TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE, BUT YOU MAY NOT GET CLOSE
Curios tourists have to buy a ticket to get close. For some reason, only a few of those are able to get on board. I’m guessing it costs more. Several visitors and travel writers have tried to get up close. But the property owners have not allowed them to. Why? It’s another layer to the mystery. But beautiful Bali is worth the trip even more! But if you start hearing music in the sky, maybe haul ass.
