IDIOT, REAL-LIFE FRANK THE TANK DOES NAKED CANNONBALL INTO BASS PRO AQUARIUM IN ALABAMA
Remember Frank the Tank in the now classic movie, Old School? “Let’s Go Streaking!!!” If you don’t remember, see it again. If you have no clue, you really should have a look. Because Frank, the character played by none other than Will Farrell, was clearly the inspiration for the idiot who is forcing me to write this story. It appears there is some kind of social media trend that is inciting insipidly stupid behavior with some men. The latest iteration of this, this week, involved a man doing a Cannonball butt naked into the Bass Pro Aquarium in Leeds, Alabama.

BEFORE NAKED CANNONBALL IN BASS PRO, MAN FIRST CRASHED HIS CAR IN THE PARKING LOT
And, well, the man was 42 years old. Presumably, he still is as I write this. And that’s about the age of Frank the Tank as presented in the movie. Was this a mid-life crisis, a call for help, or just pure stupidity? I’m guessing some combination of all three. First, the man crashed his car into a pole at the Bass Pro parking lot. Then he sprinted inside (flashing image of Will Farrell’s naked ass running in the street), tore off all his clothes and proceeded to do a cannonball splash into the aquarium. At some point, he knocked himself right out, unconscious.

When he awoke, police were waiting and promptly put him into handcuffs. I’m guessing this wasn’t the man’s dream of waking up in handcuffs. They then took him to a hospital, imagine why, to have a mental evaluation done and then booked him into the St. Clair County Jail. I bet that was awkward; “What are you in for?” Apparently, this kind of Tom-Foolery goes back a few years as part of a social media trend. Just two weeks ago, a man in Florida went fishing in a Bass Pro Shop and tore off with a live tarpon.
So I suggest watching Old School, again or for the first time. It may provide you some understanding for this kind of real-life stupidity. You can see video of the idiot here.
