MISS UNIVERSE PAGEANTS RIGGED BY CHUMP TRUMP?
So we all wondered about the Miss Universe Pageants. Were they setups? Maybe someone rigged them? But that’s all back when Trump was a personality celebrity type. So sure, he still had a lot of business ventures and he made a lot of noise. But Trump was just that, a marketing machine full of noise and color. His participation in the pageant was part marketing splash and must watch TV, if also cringe worthy. But now a new report from the New Yorker’s Jeffrey Toobin makes it clear that Donald the Chump Trump made quite the habit of rigging the pageant. Why? If Trump had business interests in particular countries, Trump helped women from those countries win. Not so oddly, that seems in keeping with his Presidency so far.

Former pageant contestants let Toobin know that Trump often spoke with them about his business deals, especially his deals in their home countries. But Trump strategically picked these women as finalists. Some of the women were finalists even though the judges didn’t pick them! Former Canadian contestant Adwoa Yamoah said in an interview, “He made comments about every girl: ‘I’ve been to that country.’ ‘We’re building a Trump Tower there.’ It was clear the countries that he liked did well. He’d whisper to Paula about the girls, and she’d write it down. He basically told us he picked nine of the top fifteen.” So did he rig it all?

Another former contestant from Singapore, Shi Lim, confirmed that “the finalists were picked by Trump” and “he was really in charge.” So what should we think? Was the chump Trump just blowing his own horn and claiming power and clout just to make himself feel good in front of the pretty ladies? Or is there more? Well, there’s more. One former Miss Universe pageant judge told Toobin that he was just completely shocked by Trump’s intervention at one event. But that’s because several of the ladies he and the other judges had chosen as finalists didn’t make it to the official list of winners. The chump Trump had overruled them! “I didn’t know what had happened,” the judge claimed. “I felt ridiculous.”
It must be hard find out it was all rigged. Well, not to worry. Most of us feel pretty ridiculous too. Except for white supremacists, some crazy rich Arabs and AIPAC. Makes you wonder what else might be rigged, right?
