Now this is some cold hearted shit right here. You’ve got the killer, 45-year-old Danielle Justine Redlick. And yes, she has the perfect assassing name. Then you’ve got her husband, 65-year-old Michael Redlick. He was a faculty member at the University of Central Florida. He also used to be an executive with the Memphis Grizzlies. But now he’s a cold corpse, the victim of one of the coldest domestic murders I can remember. His cold wife stabbed him to death. But then after watching him die, she hung out and checked thru her dating app.

But Danielle didn’t do too good of a job covering her tracks or selling her bullshit story. She called police 11 hours after she killed him to report his death. She told police that her husband stabbed himself during an argument with her. And she said that Michael started the argument by spitting a piece of Micky D hamburger in her face. She told police she had grabbed a serrated blade in their kitchen but then Michael took the knife away from her and “began making stabbing motions toward himself.”

So Danielle tried to sell a sob story of how she tried to revive him and eventually collapsed next to him on the floor, with the thoughts, “what am I going to do now?” Well, the answer was to wait 11 hours to call police and try to explain how you didn’t actually kill him. Then when you sobered up you tried to clean up the murder scene, twice. But even better, you told police you didn’t call because you couldn’t find your phone. So that didn’t line up too well when they saw you used a dating app two hours before you called them.

To make matters even more disturbing, before Michael’s murder he was joking with a friend and said Daniele “is crazy but as long as I hide the steak knives everything will be fine.” He was wrong. Police are holding Danielle without bond in the Orange County Jail. She faces charges of second-degree murder and tampering with physical evidence. There’s no word on where the toxic couple’s two children, aged 15 and 11, are at this point.
