WOMAN IN TASMANIA APPEARS IN COURT FOR BESTIALITY WITH A LIVE, BROWN TROUT
As a kid, the first time I ever came across the concept of bestiality was from the bible. I think it was in Bible study, of all things. Looking back, between that and later exposure to concepts while a student in a parochial Catholic school, I’m fairly appalled at what I had to think about at a young age. But even as I got older and made my way thru puberty and the terror of talking to girls, I never really understood why anyone would ever want to engage in any kind of sexual act with an animal of any kind. And now? Now, I’m old, and really don’t know what to make of a woman going to court for bestial acts with…. a live, brown trout.

BESTIALITY WITH A LIVE, BROWN TROUT HAPPENED ON A BOAT WITH A VIDEOTAPING FRIEND
I’d say let that sink in, but that would be a poor choice of words. So where in the hell did this happen? In Tasmania, of all places. And who is the woman? 58-year-old Catherine June Lee. And it gets more awkward, if possible, learning that one 55-year-old Ashley David Hallam filmed the bestiality with a live, brown trout while the two (or three) were on a boat. For some reason, people involved with bestiality are just like Presidential assassins, and get three names listed. It’s almost as if the extra name helps further define the identity of the nefarious person.

COURT AGREED TO DELAY CASE, AS NO ONE WANTS TO TALK ABOUT SEX WITH A LIVE, BROWN TROUT
The bestiality with a live, brown trout happened in 2022, when Lee and Hallam were busted both for the act as well as filming the fishy encounter in a boat. In court, Lee requested an adjournment with no plea until October. The court granted her request, possibly because no one wants to really talk about this in public until they absolutely have to. Lee faces 3 separate charges under the Classifications Enforcement Act (Publications, Films and Computer Games), which included possessing a bestiality product from 02/2022 and 01/2023. There are also two charges for making or reproducing a product of bestiality ding the same time period.
Yikes. Sex with a live, brown trout. Who would have thought to do that? But if anyone is friends with Lee, if you go over to dinner, don’t eat the fish.
