This is the kind of thing an asshole would do. And yes, I tend to think of the term asshole to be applied to the rougher sex. And yes, I am aware there’s a lot of dated ground to stomp on there. That’s the point. But this would have pissed me off beyond belief. A woman, Natasha Aponte, cruelly made a project out of a Tinder date. What kind of project? She made a date with DOZENS of men for the same day and time. Who tools people like that? An asshole. Her poor victims all showed up to find that there was a competition for her attentions. In other words, this Tinder date stunt was for one guy to win a date with an asshole woman.

This was two weekends ago on a Sunday afternoon. All of these poor saps showed up to what they thought was a music event Aponte’s friend was DJing at NYC’s Union Square. They were to meet there and then head out on the date. So dozens of men showed up to find a stage, a DJ, over 100 people and cameras all around to record the event. But the event was these poor saps, supposedly there to win a date with her, the MC and prize in the event, “Live Tinder.” The saps who didn’t leave were then eliminated from contention in various ways. But it started with her addressing the crowd, “As you may or may not know, my name is Natasha, and I have a confession to make for everyone here. Everyone here today was brought here to be on a date with me.”
