DISNEY+ IS ABOUT TO DELIVER, WITH A NEW SEASON OF DAREDEVIL: BORN AGAIN IN MARCH
You know you’re getting old when things you still geek out about somehow get lost in the day-to-day grind of being an adult. Because I total lost sight of the fact that there was news last summer that we were getting more of the best Marvel TV production: Daredevil played by Charlie Cox. And my aged geek memory hole delivered me a not-too-painful tease in therms of wait-time, as the new season called Daredevil: Born Again will hit on Disney+ in March. That’s only like 6 weeks away! And yes, there is indeed a trailer, which will whet fans’ appetites and maybe make those 6 weeks seem too far away.

BORN AGAIN WILL BRING BACK THE SAME AMAZING STARS, AND INTRODUCE US TO SOME NEW ONES
I think in part my memory hole was a total lack of faith, given how I’m still disgusted over how Netflix had to turn over all the rights to all the Marvel shows it produced on its platform. And let’s face it, the Marvel Universe hasn’t looked too good of late, regardless of how mean you think critics of Madame Web were. Let’s face it, that movie sucked all the harder because it could have been good. But more Charlie Cox as Daredevil? Sign me up! And the other great stars are also in, with Vincent D’Onofrio, Deborah Ann Woll and Elden Henson back in action, too.

And this means I have to appreciate Disney for keeping this particular storyline alive, which is awkward. But it’s smart of Disney, as people on the fence about subscribing may find this too much temptation to resist. As it is, I’m feeling the need to (impossibly) find the time to re-watch all of Daredevil in preparation for the new season: Born Again. And who knows? Maybe we can expect some of the other Netflix Marvel productions to get reborn as well. You can see the trailer and whet your appetite here.
