Drunk Touron Kicks Yellowstone Bison, Gets Attacked, Gets Arrested

DRUNK TOURON VISITING YELLOWSTONE KICKS A BISON, GETS ATTACKED BY SAID BISON, GETS ARRESTED

I still haven’t been to Yellowstone and I’m starting to feel pretty left out, considering just how many people visit it every year.  But somehow, an incredibly large number of these fortunate people are total idiot, aka tourons, who simply don’t know how to behave around the national park’s wildlife.  We see all too often yet another iteration of a touron getting too close to wildlife, particularly bison, and either getting the scare of their lives, a major injury, or simply dead.  And now, yet again, a park visiting idiot who was drunk not only got too close to a bison, he kicked it!  It of course attacked him.  Fortunately, the man survived only to get arrested.

PARK RANGERS FOUND INJURED TOURON, GOT HIM MEDICAL TREATMENT, THEN TOOK HIM TO THE POKEY

The touron’s name is one Clarence Yoder.  Unfortunately, he ruined a perfectly cool name with his behavior.  Earlier this month, he decided to drink too much and, while in his cups, got so close to a bison that he kicked it.  The bison, thus encouraged to exercise a potential Darwin’s Award Ceremony, attacked and injured Yoder.  Later, park rangers got a report of a man (touron) who was harassing a herd of bison and kicked one.  They then found the injured 40-year-old Yoder.  They then took the damn fool to get medical treatment.  But next up they took him to the Gallatin County Detention Center in Boseman, Montana.

TOURON AND BUDDY FACE MULTIPLE CHARGES, FINES, AND JAIL TIME FOR DRUNKEN IDIOCY

There, he got charged with being drunk enough to be a danger to himself, disorderly conduct to a degree he created a hazardous situation, approaching wildlife, disturbing wildlife.  I’m guessing kicking a bison falls into that last.  But Yoder had an idiot touron buddy with him who also faces charges.  McKenna Bass was arrested for DUI, also disturbing wildlife, and that pesky little detail of not pulling over for an emergency light.  The two tourons could each have to pay fines of $5,000 each, and may also get some jail time.  Damn, these fools have been to Yellowstone and I still haven’t?  There’s just no fairness in the world.
