FOX CORP STOCK PRICE PLUMMETS AFTER NEWS OF TUCKER CARLSON’S “DEPARTURE”
So Tucker Carlson is no longer a member of Fox News. Was he fired? Did he quit? Simply saying that Fox News and Tucker are just “parting ways” doesn’t seem to quite cover whatever really happened. So what, why, why now? It would take a crystal ball and some strong red-state Quaaludes to get a good idea to answer any. But I’ll hazard a guess: it wasn’t creative differences. And I’ll hazard yet another: it wasn’t because Tucker reportedly talked some bad smack about Fox executives. All you have to do is take a look at how much the Fox Corp stock value plummeted after the news of his “departure.”

FOX CORP KNEW THEY WOULD TAKE A PRICE HIT, SO WHY DID THEY REALLY BOOT TUCKER?
Fox Corp is all about making money, and doing so while advancing a myriad of political propaganda. Even just a few years ago, if you used the word propaganda in association with Fox News a lot of people would take reflexive umbrage. You’re a conspiracy theorist! Well, those unbrage-takers are dwindling in number. Anyone who still feels the impact of facts and context can’t avoid this simple truth. But back to Foxx Corp’s stock price plummet. The company knew this would happen, as Tucker Carlson has been the ugly face of the franchise for the crystal meth red meat-eating following mob for years now.

So they knew this would cost them. So why “part ways?” And why now? And what broke the camel’s back to make them pull the trigger? Well, a settlement might have something to do with it. And yes, I’m talking about Dominion. That is just the first of several negative lawsuit dominoes set to fall for Fox News. So even Romulan logic would indicate that the folks running Fox are trying some desperate legal triage on a wound we the public don’t know about yet. And it involves Tucker, specifically, in terms of liability. So yes, Fox Corp stock value plummeting is big news.
But it’s barely the tip on the iceberg.
