JEN PSAKI TO TAKE HER PSAKI BOMBS TO MSNBC, LEAVING ROLE AT WHITE HOUSE
So this is interesting news. Jen Psaki will be leaving the White House and her role as the press secretary for some other major role on MSNBC. I can’t say that I’m surprised, as after the last bunch of years I can’t say I’ve liked anyone else who has played that role in the First Home. Does it mean she’s making a break from whatever the general policy Joe Biden is planning to continue to unveil? Who knows? I’m guessing that she’s looking to cash in on a much less stressful job while her bonafides and name recognition are so high. But unfortunately, that means no more Psaki bombs from the lectern in Washington! Peter Doocy must feel relieved.

GRAPEVINE THINKS THAT PSAKI WILL BE REPLACING RACHEL MADDOW’S OLD NEWS HOUR
Who is Pete Doocy? Well, if you have to ask, simply Google the term “Psaki Bomb” and you’ll find Jen dropped most of them on the hapless Fox News lackey. No, really, check it out! It’s astonishing how many of them there are. But getting back to Psaki heading to MSNBC, so far we don’t really know much. Just that this is still not official and that contracts have yet to be signed. Well, and that this will be happening next month! So far, the best guess seems to be that Psaki will be replacing Rachel Maddow in the 1-Hour, 9 PM news slot. And if that’s what’s what, I’ll be curious to see how and what Psaki does.

MSNBC MAKES MAJOR SCORE WITH PSAKI, AS CBS DESTROYS CRONKITE LEGACY
But there’s some interesting context here, especially as CBS is in the news in this new hire category. But in a really, really bad way. Many CBS News staffers are reportedly mortified over the hiring of Mick Mulvaney, Donald Trump’s former Chief of Staff. As you may remember, Mulvaney played a large role in blocking aid to the Ukraine in an effort to get them to dish ugly copy on Joe Biden before the election. He’s no Psaki, that’s for sure. Now, Mulvaney will be “covering” Joe Biden’s budget policy. I can tell you in no uncertain terms that I’ll be more likely to tune into MSNBC this year!
