San Francisco Woman Falsely Told Her Father Died 3 Years Ago By Medical Examiner

MEDICAL EXAMINER MAKES HUGE ERROR, TELLS SAN FRANCISCO WOMAN HER FATHER DIED  3 YEARS AGO

This story is the sort of horror story any family would be terrified of.  3 years ago, on May 9th, 2021, Kylie Robinson got a call from the San Francisco Medical Examiner’s Office notifying her that her father had passed away in a hotel room.  They also told her that she had a limited time to pay for the services of burial or cremation, forcing her to post a GoFundMe page to raise funds for “a proper funeral to celebrate his life and all the wonderful memories we shared with him.”  But there was a  major traumatizing problem: the Medical Examiner was wrong; her father never died.

NO ONE SEEMS TO KNOW WHOSE ASHES THE MEDICAL EXAMINER GAVE TO WOMAN

The story for this poor woman during the 3 years since only gets harder and sadder.  She did in fact have a memorial service for her (not) deceased father.  But to keep his memory alive, she also kept his ashes with her.  Can you imagine what it would be like to be in her shoes these last 3 years, only to find out her father was still alive?  Because after she spent 3 years in mourning over her (not) dead father, she heard from a close friend two months ago with shocking news she never could have expected.  Her friend told her they ran into her father in San Francisco!  So she then put in a call to the Medical Examiner to follow up.

HOW DID MEDICAL EXAMINER IDENTIFY HER “FATHER” IF HE’D NEVER BEEN FINGERPRINTED?

And that’s how she learned that her father was still alive, and that she had spent 3 years toting around the ashes of someone else (no one seems to know whose) instead of finding her still alive father and doing whatever she could to help him.  It turns out that he father had never been fingerprinted!  And she had to confirm for the Medical Examiner that no, that picture of the man whose ashes she had been carrying wasn’t, in fact, her father.  And there’s one last ridiculous twist to this sad, bizarre story.  It seems that her father got arrested by the San Francisco Police back in November, 2022.  But the let him go!  Guess why….

When they ran his records which said he was dead.  They just let him go.
