MYSTERIOUS ANTENNAS APPEARING NEAR SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH STUMP LOCAL OFFICIALS
Salt Lake City, Utah is reportedly a beautiful place to visit, though I have never been there. The pictures seem incredible, and almost too pretty for a city to be surrounded by. But recently, some odd eyesores have appeared and no one knows why they are there, or who put them there. These eyesores are antennas, and people first started noticing them about a year ago. So far, there are about a dozen of these mysterious antennas reported to date. Why are they there? So who put them there? What are they for? We have no idea, and city officials are stumped.

SOME ONE HAS PLACED A DOZEN OF THESE MYSTERIOUS ANTENNAS AND NO ONE KNOWS WHY
These mysterious antennas are pretty simple setups. They’re made of a LoRa fiberglass antenna and a locked battery pack coupled with a solar panel for limitless power. And someone has placed 12 of these on public lands around Salt Lake City for some reason no one can fathom. Public Lands department staff have been dismantling and removing each of them as they have been discovered. It’s against the law to put any structures on public land without permission. And a few of these mysterious antennas were place on steep peaks, one of which required a team of 5 people to remove.

ONE MYSTERIOUS ANTENNA WAS ON TOP OF REMOTE HIGH MOUNTAIN, BOLTED INTO STONE
None of the mysterious antennas have any identifying marks, including the one that was so challenging to remove. They were also been bolted into stone, which required special tools for their removal. One antenna was found at the top of Mount Wire, at an elevation of over 7,000 feet. And yes, that is somewhat remote, requiring an hour’s hard hike to reach. And someone, or someones, hauled out the components and assembled it on site. Initially, the presumption was that these were being used as a cell phone booster. But the current leading theory is that the mysterious antennas are part of a cryptocurrency mining operation.
