PALEONTOLOGIST EXCITED AT FIRST EVER DINOSAUR BUTTHOLE DISCOVERY, REALLY
So dinosaurs are pretty cool and we keep learning new things about them all the time. Like, really, all the time. But we’ve never really ever seen a dinosaur anus before. And by anus, I mean butthole, of course. But Beavis and Butthead aside, it makes some real sense. After all, most of what we know about dinosaurs is from their fossils, aka their bones. And I don’t think a butthole has much of anything to do with bones, you know? But now, we’re hearing from a paleontologist about a near-perfect dinosaur butthole from millions of years ago.

DISCOVERY OF PSITTACOSAURUS IN CHINA SHOCKED SCIENTISTS WITH BLACK HOLE OF HISTORY
No, seriously! The dinosaur is one Psittacosaurus, as in the picture above. The discovery was made in China, and scientists are totally in love with the dinosaur butthole. So ok, that sounds awkward. But it’s totally true. Maybe it sounds better if we use the word, cloaca? Nah, that’s a mouthful. But the rear end of this particular dinosaur is in such a great state of preservation, that we can see two small bulges near the, um, dinosaur butthole. And no, they’re not dinosaur hemorrhoids.

DINOSAUR BUTTHOLE HAS SCIENTISTS TURNED ON WITH ALL NEW THEORIES OF CLOACAL FUNCTION
But what they are, or may be, create a host of new guesses about how dinosaur butthole biology may have defined behavior, too. And no, I’m not talking about prehistoric roughage. But since these bulges seen to resemble those found on the buttholes of crocodilians, scientists are abuzz with their new possible guesswork. They could be scent glands, just like their still living cousins. But in any event, as it’s the first ever dinosaur butthole we’ve ever laid, um, eyes on, it’s totally unique today. Maybe, just maybe, the gaping hole of our ignorance will get smaller if only we can find some more dinosaur buttholes!
