PARIS POLICE PRECINCT SO FLEA INFESTED, POLICE HAVE TO FLEE FLEAS
So much for the city of love and romance. Sure, I heard about the Apple store in New York City full of bed bugs. But I never would have expected to hear that Paris Police would have a flea problem so bad that they had to abandon the infested precinct. Seriously! This happened! But it’s also a labor situation. Why? Because city officials ignored police pleas for help to deal with the problem. And then it got so bad the affected police took their message to social media for help. But then, suddenly, city officials heard their cries for help.

IF YOU FIND YOURSELF IN PARISIAN HANDCUFFS, TRY TO AVOID THIS PRECINCT
So just in case police happen to arrest you in Paris, maybe try not to have them take you back to the 19th district precinct. But if so, it shouldn’t be a surprise if you leave with an itch that follows you home. No, really. Because that’s exactly many of the police working there experienced in recent weeks. So not only were fleas biting them at work, the problem got so bad it followed them home to their families. But that’s right, city officials ignored their pleas for help for so long that the infestation went home to these poor police families, too.

POLICE UNION HAD TO TWEET SHAME CITY OFFICIALS TO GET SOME HELP
So now the precinct will be closed for two days as bug murdering experts get on the case and try to rid the building of these nasty fleas. But the police union says city officials didn’t handle the situation properly. Maybe that’s why, after several weeks, the Alliance Union tweeted, “EMPLOYMENT EVACUATION! For many days, officials of the CP19 are undergoing a flea invasion that generates conditions of work NOT PERMISSIBLE !!!”, the Alliance union tweeted. So that’s what they had to do to finally get some help to totally disinfect their precinct. The interior minister, Cristophe Castaner, will get an earful from incensed union officials as well.
