CHRISTIAN SCHOOL PASTOR CALLS AUTISM AWARENESS WEEK EVENTS “DEMONIC”
It’s impossible to not hear about autism almost every day. That likely has something to do with the fact that today 1 in every 36 kids born have autism. Just 50 years ago, experts now estimate the rate was 2-4 kids out of every 10,000. So autism is with us, and will only be more with us with every day that passes. That’s why there’s an Autism Awareness Week, the last day of which for 2024 was yesterday. It’s pretty normal at this point. But one Florida pastor seems to have a problem with it, and called it demonic with a fairly deranged rant.

TRINITY CHRISTIAN ACADEMY THEN CANCELS ALL AUTISM AWARENESS WEEK EVENTS, SAD
Sure, in olden days pretty much every malady or sickness one could have was called demonic. But we’re talking olden days. Today no one says you need to drive the demons out when you have the common cold. But some Christians these days have chosen to hearken back to the days when the world was flat. And the lead Pastor at Trinity Christian Academy, Matt Baker, is clearly one such. He sent a more than casually disturbing email to the parents of children at the school which included his consideration that Autism Awareness Week is… demonic.

“DEMONIC” AUTISM AWARENESS EMAIL TO PARENTS LEFT MANY UNSETTLED AND UPSET
Obviously some of the parents weren’t too receptive, and sent the dark ages pastor’s email to local media about it. And with the current autism rate, it’s a no-brainer to safely assume that kids with autism attend Trinity Christian Academy. If I was a parent of one of those kids, I’d be on a warpath the likes of which… Matt Baker has never seen. But then again, I probably would have already seen the clear signs that the school is a tax-exempt institution to brainwash the young. In other words, it’s a damn cult. Autism isn’t going anywhere, except to touch more people’s lives with every tomorrow, including this cult school near Lake Worth, Florida.
But for the kids attending this school, I seriously hope that they will be going somewhere else, and soon. You can read more about it from Florida’s local news here.
