FLORIDA POLICE TASKED WITH ARREST OF HIGH NAKED BURGLAR COVERED IN PEPPERMINT OIL
When I hear about stories like these, I’m glad I never went into law enforcement. And when it comes to being a cop in Florida, that goes double. Because this latest insane Florida news involves a naked man covered in grease and peppermint oil burglarizing homes and running around like a fool in the middle of the night. Sounds like a fun arrest, right? Most crooks do their best to give the cops the slip. But this more literal foolishness couldn’t have been fun for law enforcement at all. It started when they responded to a burglary in progress call at 2 am on Friday night.

NAKED, GREASED PEPPERMINT OIL BURGLAR WIPED OUT ON FAMILY TRAMPOLINE
The naked man covered in wheel-bearing grease and peppermint oil was one Blake Tokman, a 34-year-old who was most likely under the influence of one or more substances at the time of his arrest. When police arrived, their bodycams caught sight of Tokman running away and jumping into an in-ground pool of a DeBary, Florida home. In the bodycam footage, you can hear one officer say, “I got one running going westbound behind the fence, he’s naked.” Tokman then launched himself out of the pool (now more slippery as a result) and then plopped face-first onto a trampoline as the officer ran towards him.

Then Tokman simply lay there in a starfish position as the deputy threatened to Tase him. But Tokman had given himself a head wound with his antics, and the blood made things both stickier and slippier for arresting officers. So it took multiple officers to subdue and handcuff the naked man, with them wondering why he smelled like toothpaste. I mean, peppermint oil? Really? Tokman had broken into two homes that evening before officers arrived. And both homes were occupied at the time. Just imagine waking up in the middle of the night to that!
And then imagine having to be a cop trying to get the handcuffs on.
