HALF A DOZEN POLICE SHOOT SLEEPING BLACK MAN 25 TIMES
Black people must be seriously scary. I mean, they must be, right? So this story has a couple interesting details. One, the rapper Willie McCoy is black. Two, he fell asleep in his car. Three, he fell asleep in his car in a Taco Bell Drive Thru. Lastly, four, he had a gun in his lap. So sure, something there might be suspicious if you’re a cop on the job. But that doesn’t explain six cops, a sleeping black man and 25 bullets that ended his life. Oh, yeah. Willie McCoy was unresponsive. But he was only unresponsive for 4 or five seconds. POLICE SHOOTING OF RAPPER HAPPENED IN OAKLAND, CALIFORNIA
So guess where this happened? But of course, it’s Oakland, California. The Bay Area knows Willie McCoy as rapper, Willie Bo. Evidently, he’d been working like crazy recording in the studio and went out in his Mercedes for a bite to eat. But he was so tired he fell asleep in the drive-thru after he placed his order. Being tired and a scary black man proved to be deadly. So we can’t blame the Taco Bell staff. They called police when they saw a man slumped over in his car with the engine running. Fair enough.
