CHRISTOPHER STANLEY CHANGED HIS LIFE, QUIT USING DRUGS AND LOST 340 POUNDS
So just look at those two pictures, side by side. That’s what can happen when you change your life. But sure, the after picture is disturbing in its own way. Yet to stay real, that is just cosmetic and doctors can fix that with pervasive nip tucks. So who is this man? His name is Christopher Stanley. He appeared recently in an episode of the show, Brand New Me. A day simply came and he decided to change his life, just like that. And he clearly followed thru, losing 340 pounds. LOSING 340 POUNDS IS LIKE PUTTING DOWN 40 GALLONS OF WATER, FOREVER
But let’s look at how physically crazy Stanley’s transformation truly is. Yes, besides the photos. 340 pounds lighter is the same weight as 40 gallons of water. Just let that sink in for a minute. Today, this man walks around without carrying 40 pounds of water with him, every step of the way. When you use that understanding, it’s pretty darn inspiring. But Stanley says he has always been heavy. In middle school, he already weighed 200 pounds! He was that guy. Before he changed his life, he weighed an astounding 550 pounds. But not anymore.

STANLEY LOST WEIGHT BEFORE, BUT HE HAD TO WORK ON HIS MENTAL HEALTH FIRST
Stanley had always used food to compensate for whatever he was feeling. And he never had good eating habits, which is normal for the morbidly obese. He had tried losing weight, losing as much as 100 pounds, only to put it right back on. So he found a support group for his regular drug use. And that set him up to confront his issues with overeating, as well. But he said that trying to lose weight while ignoring his mental health issues couldn’t work. Now, he works out all the time and eats well. But Stanley’s key words of advice are these, saying, “Be honest with yourself. Because if you downplay that, the results will not stick.”
Words to live well by!
