WEALTHY PANIC OVER CORONAVIRUS MAKES HUGE JUMP IN PRIVATE JET DEMAND
So everyone knows about the Coronavirus. It’s here, it’s there, it’s pretty much everywhere. Well, if not the virus, then the fear it causes. That is everywhere. So far, we just don’t know enough about it to know how bad it’s going to be. But it’s already killed a couple thousand people. How many more? We just have no idea. But the fear is pervasive. I just had family fly on a jet domestically and I thought about Coronavirus. Because every single plane is a closed air system. You are sharing that air with everyone else on board. So what’s the answer? Well, if you have the money, fly on a private jest, of course. The only cooties on board will be yours and the crew. And rich people are panicking as like everyone else. And it’s causing a huge spike in private jet demand.

RICH FOLKS CAN’T FIND A PRIVATE JET TO ESCAPE, OR SIMPLY TRAVEL WITH CLEAN AIR
So this is happening everywhere. But most especially in China, ground zero for Coronavirus. Yet rich people looking to charter their own private jet are running into a problem they can’t solve with money. There are simply not enough private jets to satisfy demand. But make no mistake, this isn’t a casual fact. A private jet costs a bundle. That’s why most people tend to fly commercial. While First Class or Business class seem insanely expensive to most of us, the cost is inconsequential to people with means.

PRIVATE JET COSTS ARE INSANE, BUT WHAT IS THE PRICE OF CATCHING CORONAVIRUS?
But to charter a private jet? That’s like an all-around vacation package for you and the entire family, for a month. That’s not an exaggeration. But Coronavirus doesn’t discriminate. It can kill anyone, and has already. And the rich are no exception. But for now, they have to share that air on commercial. Or, as is the case for so many in China, simply wait it out. Why? Because of travel bans. And low supply of private jets. Oh, and the fact that private jet crews simply want to avoid China. For now.
So regardless of your bank account size, buckle up. We’re all in for some serious turbulence. Here on the ground.
