BELTWAY REPUBLICANS START TO FREAK OUT AS DEMS LOOK TO MAKE BIG GAINS
So have you heard of the rightwing magazine, the Washington Examiner? You likely haven’t unless you are a Republican. Well, a Republican who reads policy wonks working inside the beltway. So OK, most people don’t know of this Elephantile rag, which is fine. But it exists and it has a substantial footprint in the political world. So it’s actually a huge surprise to hear that they tweeted that President Trump is hellbound. That’s right, they said that Donald Trump is going to hell. But they tweeted this the day before these hotly contested midterm elections! It’s actually some election cycle crazy that I would never have predicted. But who would have, on the Election Eve?

The Washington Examiner has been steadfast behind Donald Trump. They’re been right there with him supporting every damaging thing he has said and done. Until now. Seriously, just read this from 5:13am EST this morning. It’s kind of out of control: Trump is going to hell. Anyone who ever read the bible can tell you where it stands on rich adulterers. The key to God’s forgiveness is repentance. Trump’s entire political career has been about the exact opposite of that. So what gives? The Washington Examiner isn’t saying. But they did delete the tweet within 3 hours. Hmm. Let’s think. The mag had no problem with Trump’s stoking racism on many fronts. The synagogue shooting was a while ago in terms of news cycle. There’s the craziness with the women and kids looking for asylum at the border. There was that crazy bomber. A Trump clone just killed some folks at a yoga studio and bailed with suicide. So why is this magazine freaking out with some reality now? Well, maybe because the reality that seems WAY more apparent this morning is that the Democrats will likely clean up in Congress and in Governors’ offices. Plus, the Senate is anyone’s guess.
This will be the first of many freak outs today and in the weeks to come. It will be more than just the rightwing in the beltway as the hours go by today and tomorrow. Look out for God’s crocodile tears! Because we were all about to be hellbound.
