Yikes. I’m a fairly red-blooded type of guy. So I can’t say I’m too judgy to hear about a couple who were having sex on their room’s balcony in Le Cannet, France. I mean, they’re on vacation, right? While I can’t say I’m too fond of exhibitionists, I do get it. I just don’t necessarily want to see it. But for this couple, their hot sex-capade quickly became a nightmare. How? The balcony they were having sex on collapsed under them, in situ. One minute everything is on the up and up. But seconds later you hit the ground 12 feet below. I’ve heard of sex injuries, but nothing like this!

THE MAN SUFFERED THE WORST INJURIES, AS HE LANDED ON THE BOTTOM
So what a nightmare! Sure enough, people at the scene saw the whole thing. Onlookers reported that the couple were having a “passionate sex session.” Ok then! But then they saw the sexy couple falling when the balcony collapsed beneath them. This was, of course, in the middle of the day. The man is a 30-year-old from England. The woman is 28 and from Canada. The Canadian woman only suffered minor injuries. But that’s literally because she came out on top. The Englishman was not on top and is now fighting for his life at the Pasteur Hospital in Nice.

POLICE WILL INVESTIGATE, AS THERE’S NO WAY THE BALCONY SHOULD HAVE COLLAPSED
Local police have started a criminal inquiry and will conduct an investigation. That makes sense, especially as the injured man is still in “critical condition.” It’s the kind of thing that makes you want to be a square. But here’s the thing. There’s no way the balcony should have collapsed. I don’t care if you weigh as much as a Sumo Wrestler. Getting it on, on a balcony, is a questionable move. But suffering serious injuries or dying from it? Let’s hope the man recovers fully. And if he does, let’s also hope we never walk by a hotel he stays in.
