NEW T1 SMART GLASSES WILL SHOW WEARER IF YOU, OR ANYONE AT ALL, HAS A FEVER
So we thought things were already crazy with all this Coronavirus crap. You know, how the weird, dark and scary future had already arrived? Well, here’s some more to be aware of. There are T1 smart glasses that already exist and authorities are already using. All a cop or the like has to do is put a pair on, and then they can see if you have a fever. Well, or not. GOVERNMENTS, SCHOOLS, AND HOSPITALS ARE ALREADY BUYING THESE FUTURE-IS-NOW SMART GLASSES
These fever detecting T1 wearables come from a Chinese startup with the name Rokid. You may have heard about them from their recent major foot print in the AI and augmented-reality markets. But these T1 smart glasses will show the wearer everyone’s temperature, including yours. Rokid has already sold about a thousand of these to schools, businesses and, yes, governments. Rokid developed them in about two weeks. That’s kind of astounding. But their timing is impeccable.

ROKID ALREADY IN TALKS ACROSS THE US TO DELIVER THESE TO AN AUTHORITY NEAR YOU
So how do these T1 smart glasses work? Well, they’ve got some serious hardware, for one. Each has a Qualcomm CPU and a 12-megapixel camera. Those, along with an infrared sensor, let the T1 smart glasses see temperatures, live. And Rokid is already negotiating with American hospitals and a variety of our local governments, as well. So whenever we are allowed back to work, expect these smart glasses to be a part of our new reality. We already knew things had changed. But this is…. Lightspeed. So some safe advice? Stay cool. Literally and figuratively. We’ll all be better off.
So yes, T1 is a total Terminator reference. Let’s hope they didn’t intend that with these smart glasses….
