There was a time when popping pimples was not talked about. Maybe it was whispered about in close quarters. But now it’s all the rage. Everyone is talking spot squeezing. Especially Dr. Pimple Popper aka Dr. Sandra Lee. She has an Instagram account with over 2.5 million followers (are they all high schoolers looking of answers or techniques, or just weird fetish types?). She also has a website, a “go-to destination for informative and educational content on skin care and dermatology.” But the pimple popping obsession has gone a little too far with cakes. Yes, cakes with “zits” to “pop” and then eat. It’s a thing.
CAKE WITH A FACE AND A PILE OF SPOT SQUEEZING PIMPLES FOR REAL POPPING
The Cakescape in Kuala Lumpur makes “homemade premium delectable” charming cakes. Some of the cakes have unicorns, roses, butterflies, art and a face with pimples. But the cake with a face with lots of pimples has gained popularity on Instagram. There are pictures and videos of the cake, and a person popping each zit. When they pop each pimple white cake with a tip of chocolate emerges, like a whitehead. And then people eat it. Has this already turned you off of cakes or turned you on? It’s really gross to watch.
