POLICE ESCORT SUBSTITUTE TEACHER AFTER STUDENTS REPORTED HE WAS WATCHING PORN IN CLASS
What is the deal with people watching porn when and where they really, really shouldn’t? Last week it was a Florida cop watching porn on his phone while driving, while on duty, and crashing into a car stopped for a school bus. And this week? This week the news is of a substitute teacher who was watching porn in class, in front of his teenaged class. 81-YEAR-OLD SUBSTITUTE TEACHER HAS BEEN CERTIFIED SINCE WAY BACK IN 1966
This appalling behavior happened at the Klein Oak High School, in the Harris County School District in Houston, Texas. And the substitute teacher watching porn in class in front of his students was 81-year-old Kenneth Hartley, who has been a certified substitute teacher since 1966. It’s unclear what the octogenarian sub was thinking watching porn on the job. But since his students were teenagers, there is of course video footage from the “scene,” showing him sitting behind a desk watching porn. And his students say that he was “intentionally” exposing them to the “deviant sexual intercourse” on the porn video.

NOW FORMER SUBSTITUTE TEACHER FACES CHARGES, POSSIBLE JAIL TIME BECAUSE PORN
The school district has already made sure to ban Hartley from ever being a substitute teacher again, and the Harris County District Attorney’s Office has accepted charges that include displaying harmful material to a minor, which could result in as much as a year in jail. Hartley eventually was released on a $100 bond. But something is in the wind these days, with people (mostly men, it seems) of all ages watching porn on the job displaying an unbelievable lack of judgement.
