NOW FORMER PROSECUTOR SUSPENDED FROM LAW FOR DRIVING NAKED, YET AGAIN
What’s up, Ohio? And yes, I’m addressing the whole state, because WT effing H? The (former?) prosecutor who has served in that capacity in Butler County and Hamilton, Ohio, will be a bit short of change for the next while. Why? Because the Ohio Supreme Court just suspended his license to practice law, indefinitely. What did he do? Lose evidence? Reneg on negotiated plea deals? No, nothing so common like that. So what could it be? Driving naked. Like, a lot. As in, he drove naked multiple times. But the law finally caught up to the “law”yer. And no, this is not a joke.

DRIVING NAKED IS, EVIDENTLY, YET ANOTHER FORM OF COMPULSIVE SEXUAL DISORDER?
The suspended prosecutor is Scott Blauvelt. Evidently, Scott has himself what some people call a compulsive sexual disorder. And yes, that category is fairly comprehensive. As in, there are a lot of funky things people feel compelled to do. Use your imagination. Or, rather, think about feet, shoes, etc. But driving naked? Who wants to drive naked? How is that even a thing? Sure, nudists want to do everything naked. Ok, I get that idea in general. But driving your car in the buff? Driving naked as a compulsion? I just don’t get it.

And, well, this isn’t new local news over in Ohio. Because court records make it clear to us all (now) that Blauvelt went into a program to treat his compulsive disorder back in May of 2021. Clearly, the program couldn’t help him change gears. Or even change into clothes. Blauvelt, for his part, said in a court hearing that he doesn’t want to do this anymore. Well, and that he thinks this will be a problem for him the rest of his life. As much as I should be espousing more sympathy for this man, I just don’t get it. Good luck, I guess? Try not to ride the clutch too hard?
