Swing State Political Ads Tells Voters Trump Wants to Ban Porn

TWO DEMOCRATIC PACs RUN SWING STATE ADS REMINDING YOUNG MEN TRUMP WANTS TO BAN PORN

It’s election season, and it’s finally about to end.  But we can all expect some even more intense craziness that could last until at least Wednesday if not Thursday.  And if Kamala Harris wins, we can expect some post-election craziness as well.  As it is now, polls show Harris winning by a landslide, and other polls show Trump winning- also by a landslide.  But as a Republic, it’s hard to watch a horse race from a great distance and the announcers won’t say what’s real until the end.  And while there are a lot issues driving voters to the polls, we may look back in a few days and wonder if political ads in swing states telling voters that Trump and Republicans want to ban porn will be a factor.

YOUNG MEN LIKE TRUMP, BUT THEY ALSO LIKE PORN AND CAN’T HAVE BOTH AFTER TUESDAY

And unfortunately, this isn’t a tongue-in-cheek question.  Republicans in no less than 16 states have implemented harsh laws targeting porn websites.  In other words, Republicans have already made inroads towards banning porn websites in almost a third of the nation.  But this could leave the GOP with a wedge demographic: young men.  Young men, you may already know, have been one of Trump’s strongest potential voting blocs.  But who watches porn on websites more than anyone else?  Young men.  And two Democratic PACs are running swing state ads to remind young men that a vote for Trump and down the ticket could cost them quality alone time for the foreseeable future.

WILL DEFENDING THE RIGHT TO WATCH PORN SWAY ENOUGH YOUNG MEN VOTERS IN EVERY SWING STATE?

The two PACs are The Progress Action Fund and FTW PAC.  Both have made swing state porn bans a priority with ads aimed at young men voters in Pennsylvania, Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Wisconsin, Nevada and North Carolina.  And depending on whatever the realities of this “horse race” really are, if the elections are close in any or all of these states, young men voting to protect their ability to watch porn could end up having national ramifications.  But while I know who I very much want to win the presidency, I sincerely hope the victory isn’t labeled the Swing State Porn Support Win.
