PORNOGRAPHY TO BLAME FOR SCHOOL VIOLENCE, SAYS TENN REP BLACK
School shootings just keep happening, over and over again. We all keep hearing about them. Then we all keep hearing about how we need to do something about them. We hear about the students and their families. Then we hear about victims and survivors of precious shootings. We hear more angry voices calling for something to be done. But we also hear voices telling us why these shootings keep happening. Note, these voices don’t say it’s the guns or our easy access to them. But this time, we have the voice of Republican Rep Diane Black of Tennessee. Her voice said it’s pornography that’s one of the main causes of school violence. Well, porn as a piece of the deterioration of the family, as well as violent movies. So, stupid is as this Tenn Rep shoots her stupid mouth off.

BLAMING PON FOR SCHOOL VIOLENCE A DESPERATE BID TO NOT TALK ABOUT GUNS
It’s the kind of thing that keeps happening after a school shooting. Someone throws mud in the water, or someone says something completely inane and distracting from the simple facts. What are those facts? Guns in people’s hands kill people. And it’s too easy for those guns to get there. And there’s no protecting us or our kids from them. So let’s talk about porn? Ugh. Black made these sickening comments during a listening session with her local pastors last week. Huffington post got a copy of the audio and posted it last week. Some of Black’s comments were:
“Why do we see kids being so violent? What’s out there? What makes them do that?”

“PORN IS THERE” SO BLAME PORN? AREN’T GUNS THERE TOO?
“Because, as a nurse, I go back to root cause. And I think it’s a couple things. Pornography. It’s available. It’s available on the shelf when you walk in the grocery store. Yeah, you have to reach up to get it, but there’s pornography there. All of this is available without parental guidance.”
“And I think that’s a big part of the root cause, that we see so many young people that have mental illness get caught in these places.”
YOU CAN’T SHOOT A GUN AND KILL SOMEONE IF YOU DON’T HAVE A GUN, BUT PORN, PORN PORN
So according to Black, porn you can reach up to grab in a grocery store is more dangerous than magazines celebrating guns on the lower shelves. Because porn is dedicated to… never mind. Porn is sex. Porn is not guns. Well, I don’t know. I never spend any time in Tennessee, really. Maybe the state has too much porn. But Black shouldn’t shoot her mouth off until she has a better platform. It’s not the 80’s anymore, even in Tennessee. But this Tenn Rep is preaching to the gun choir.
