A LOF OF COUNTRIES ARE SUDDENLY, AND UNDERSTANDABLY, ISSUING TRAVEL WARNINGS TO THE UNITED STATES
Boy have times changed, and fast. The United States has been a prime travel destination for people all over the world for years. And while America has always enjoyed tourism dollars, the last few decades have shown that visiting the United States is extremely popular. But it seems like that’s about to change drastically, and the effects may last for years to come. With the current U.S. government’s push to “secure the borders” by arresting various visa holders to casual international travelers whose paperwork is out of order, other countries are taking action to protect their citizens. And action so far is a growing list of those countries issuing travel warning. To the United States!

DON’T EVEN CROSS THE AMERICAN BORDER WITH A CELL PHONE THAT SHOWS YOU’RE CRITICAL OF TRUMP
And that exclamation mark isn’t ironic or pithy; it’s a note of just how times have changed so quickly. It’s hard to blame the rest of the world for perceiving America this way, because it’s pretty simple: the United States is no longer a safe place to visit. Unless, that is, your paperwork is in perfect order, you scrubbed your cellphone and ALL social media of any criticism of American foreign policy. But scrubbed of anything negative to say about Donald Trump in particular. Oh, and let’s not forget dropping out of ANY online or social media group that Trump (and maybe Netanyahu and Putin) don’t like. When you look at it like that, which is accurate, travel warnings seem pretty basic.

CANADA, DENMARK, GERMANY THE THE U.K. HAVE ALREADY ISSUED TRAVEL WARNINGS TO U.S.
So far, the major countries we know (knew?) as allies that have issued travel warnings include Canada, Denmark, Germany and the United Kingdom. This would be shocking at any other time in the last 80 years, if not longer. And word is getting around about visiting the United States; don’t arrive with only a visa waiver; arrive with a clear, booked itinerary that definitely includes a departing flight; don’t come at all if your gender isn’t biologically binary (aka transgender); and like I said above don’t bring any kind of device that could show you don’t like Trump, or T-shirts supporting, say, Palestinian rights.
Expect things to get worse, and more countries issuing travel warnings to the United States.
