Indian Man’s Upset Stomach Caused By a Live Cockroach In His Belly

INDIAN MAN’S UPSET STOMACH, PAIN AND BLOATING WAS CAUSED BY A LIVE COCKROACH IN HIS BELLY

A COCKROACH LIVING IN YOUR BELLY COULD LITERALLY KILL YOU WITH COMPLICATIONS

That’s, well, pretty disturbing no matter how comfortable you are with bugs.  The 23-year-old Indian man had bloating, bad indigestion and some sharp stomach pain so went to doctors to get checked out.  But when the doctors did check him out via a Upper Gastrointestinal (GI) Endoscopy, they were stunned to discover a one inch cockroach hanging out in the Indian man’s small intestine.  So, as you can imagine, that’s not the healthiest thing for one’s health, even their life.  It seems the common cockroach isn’t on the list of safe parasites to have living in your gut.

The doctors wanted to act quickly, as the Indian man’s life was literally at risk from the cockroach in his belly.  So they used an endoscope with two channels, one to put in air and water, the other for suctioning air.  In other words, they needed to flush the cockroach loose and then use the suction to grab it for removal.  Fortunately for the Indian man, they were successful, and prevented a host of possible complications as well as infectious diseases.  The common cockroach is a dirty creature.  The doctors think the cockroach must have either crawled down his throat while he was asleep.
