STREET ARTIST WANKSY IS BACK AT IT, THIS TIME USING OFFENSIVE IMAGERY IN SUFFOLK, ENGLAND
Pretty much everyone has heard of the artist Banksy. I’d say street artist. But we’re going to talk about a real street artist. As in, he paints on the very streets themselves. While some may have a quibble or two about calling the real street artist, um, an artist, I’m happy to go out on that limb. His street name is Wanksy, and as you can see from the picture above, his name is -ahem- spot on. You may vaguely remember news about him from several years ago, when he used his art to help motivate local officials to fix their streets. Well, he’s back now, and this time he’s trying to fix the streets of Suffolk, England.

WANKSY USES ADOLESCENT PHALLIC IMAGERY TO MOTIVATE LOCAL GOVERNMENTS TO TAKE ACTION
Wansky is also a bit of a renegade street artist cum activist. But instead of deep social commentary, he uses simple graffiti on streets like cocks, schlongs, peckers, boners, and whatever euphemism you might prefer to describe an erect penis. Some splashing imagery may also be involved. It’s literally the kind of imagery you would expect from an adolescent on an elementary or high school bathroom wall. And that there is exactly the point. Well, that too. Anyway, one pothole Wanksy so adorned had been left to damage bicycles and cars for 8 long months. But after the activist artist went to work, it was repaired within two short days!

Now, he’s hard (ahem again) at work in Suffolk. Wanksy explained, “I spray dicks because they capture people’s attention. Potholes cause untold damage to vehicles and sometimes accidents as people swerve to avoid them. It’s a bloody disgrace, Most people don’t see the holes until its too late, but after I’ve had my tool out and sprayed the area, people can easily see my cock coming.” But I must say this doesn’t speak well of local municipalities. It seems to be fine to leave hazardous potholes putting the public at risk for months on end. But a spurting, spray painted phallus?
That needs to be addressed immediately….
